Wonderland Farm offers numerous activities for children. This includes:
We offer a variety of camps throughout the year. All of our camps follow the school calendar making them perfect opportunities for parents to get a break. We offer a Spring Break Camp, Summer Camp, Tiny Riders, and a Winter Break Camp. Our Spring and Winter Break Camps are usually only two days long from 9 AM to 2 PM. Our Summer Camp and Tiny Rider Camp are week long. Summer Camp goes from 9 AM to 3 PM and Tiny Riders goes from 9 AM to 12 PM. In our camps kids get to ride and do other horse related activities. We also find time to do arts and crafts.
Wonderland Farm now offers Birthday Parties on and off the farm. These are great for all ages. For the younger children, we offer pony rides and soon we will also be offering a petting zoo. For older children, we offer group trail rides for up to six people. Check out our Birthday Party page for pricing & scheduling. Click here for more information
We offer English hunt seat lessons, beginner to advance. Our assistant trainer, teaches most of our kids’ lessons. She makes the lessons fun and educational. She also allows her students to progress at their own speed and caters their lessons to meet their needs. She has worked with children of all ages; her youngest student having been three years old up to working with teenagers.
We try to host at least two slumber parties each year. We have our annual Halloween Slumber Party. The kids get to sleep in the barn or in our four-horse trailer, depending on the temperature. They also get to ride in the ring and go on a trail ride. We also have a haunted stall, go for a haunted trail walk, tell ghost stories, and roast marshmallows around the camp fire. We also provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
This year we will be reviving our Saddle Club. We will be running it one Saturday a month. There will be plenty of riding time, as well as educational activities on basic horse care. The kids also get to interact with our other farm critters, such as our chickens and piglets
