2008 Saturday Evening Jumper Show

Classes 1 and 7 will start at same time in different rings

Open to beginning riders. Riders must complete the course at a trot. Penalized 1 fault per stride, if
canter more than 5 continuous strides after each fence or on course. May only cross enter into canter poles.

5. Power and Speed (Table IV c)
6. Gamblers Choice/ Top Score
Open to beginning riders. Pole riders may not cross enter other divisions.

Open to all riders
Open to all riders on horse or pony. Riders to jump one fence starting at 2’6 and increasing by 3”
increments until elimination by knockdown.

3’3 - 3’ 6 Jumpers Open to all riders (ring A)

Timed First Jump Off if the competitor has gone clean in the first round, without leaving the ring, upon audible signal, will commence the designated jump off course.

Power and Speed if competitor has gone clean in the first round, they will, upon crossing the finish line, commence the designated jump off course. Time starts as the horse crosses the finish line for the initial course.

Gamblers Choice a top score competition where each obstacle carries from 10 to 120 points according to difficulty. Each obstacle may be jumped twice.
Competitors will have 60 seconds after crossing timers to accumulate as many points as they can by jumping as many fences as they can in any order or pattern they choose.

Jumper Stakes Classes Riders must compete in the entire division in order to enter a stakes class. $10 add-back, Prize money will be divided - 1st 50%, 2nd 25%, 3rd 15%, 4th 10%.

 

Table II Classes scored on faults and time
Knockdown is 4 faults, disobediences 4 faults.

Table II Sec 2.b if competitor goes clean in first round, without leaving ring, upon audible signal, commence designated jump off course.

Table II Sec 2.c if clean in first round upon crossing finish line will commence with jump off. Time starts as horse crosses finish line for initial course.

Table IV Classes scored on touches and time. Touch of obstacle w/ any portion of horses body in front of stifle 1 fault, if behind the stifle 1/2 fault. Touch of standard with any part of horse, rider or equipment 1 fault. Refusal is 4 faults.

Table IV b if competitor clean in first round, remains in ring and upon audible signal commences jump off.

Table IV c if clean first round , commence jump off immediately upon crossing finish line. Time starts as horse crosses finish line for initial course.

 

Entry Fees
$10.00 per class
Stake classes $15/class $10 add-back prize money
Must enter entire division to go in Stake classes

$10.00 schooling fee will be charged to horses that use the facility and do not show.

Awards
Championship /reserve ribbons each division. Ribbons 1st thru 5th in each class.

Schooling Show Information
Negative coggins required.

Classes 1 and 7 will start at same time in different rings

Riding helmets must be worn when mounted. Informal attire is acceptable with proper footwear.

All entries are made at the owner’s, rider’s, and trainer’s own risk. Management cannot be held responsible in any way for the loss, damage, or accident to horse/pony, rider, spectator, equipment, or vehicles brought to the show grounds.

All dogs must be on a leash.

Show management reserves the right to reschedule, combine, divide, or cancel classes as needed.

All fees must be paid by end of show.
All decisions are final.
